What's your job or daily passion? Does GYROTONIC® help with that?

I travel often and journey from coast to coast working with clients. While I enjoy this engagement whether on the road or at my home office, it takes a toll on my body. Gyrotonic has helped me learn how to engage my core, be mindful of spinal movement, and improve my posture wherever I may be.

The outstanding teachers at the Seed Center have coached me to get up and move throughout the day. Finding this balance has been life-changing.

What was your life like before you started coming to The Seed Center?

Pilates was my go-to prior to discovering the Gyrotonic. While I enjoyed that method of exercise, I was locked into repeated patterns and felt the need to seek out an alternative form of connecting with my body and mind, and one that would support me as I age.

Back, shoulder, knees, and more needed continued TLC. This led me to the unique community of professional, empathetic, passionate, and supportive kindred spirits at the Seed Center.

What has changed since you started practicing regularly at The Seed Center?

I am more engaged with my body now and have built a heightened awareness of self & space through my Gyrotonic practice. Over the years, this foundation boosted my confidence and vastly improved the quality of my recovery from various injuries.

The Seed Center teachers always begin sessions by asking how your body is feeling. They are sensitive and adaptable, and tailor sessions to individual needs. Working with the most amazing teachers and people, I continue to gain valuable insights and build intuitive knowledge during every visit.

“The highlight of my week is the transformative experience I feel afterward when stepping out into the beautiful neighborhood. It is a privilege and exceedingly rewarding.”

What’s your favorite movement or class?

The Tower classes are a perfect blend of all types of Gyrotonic exercises and include controlled, energetic movement with breathwork. I am specifically a fan of the spiral handle series and the natural movement that elongates and creates room in our spine.
